The md5 checksum can be used to verify that the download succeeded and the file has arrived unchanged. We have calculated a md5 checksum for each file, and you can calculate a md5 checksum for the file you have downloaded. If your md5 checksum equals the checksum presented here you can be pretty certain that the file has arrived unaltered. In Linux you can easily calculate the md5 checksum with the command md5sum filename, where filename is the file name you have just downloaded. In Windows and Android you need to download special software for this, make a WWW search to get a software that suites you.
